WWF’s Earth Hour

On Saturday 28 March 2009 at 8.30pm, people, businesses and iconic buildings around the world will switch off their lights for an hour – WWF’s Earth Hour. If you want to know more about this initiative, you can watch this video about the history of WWF’s Earth Hour.

The Princess of Nebraska

Tomorrow at the Filmoteca de Andalucía, you can see the film The Princess of Nebraska. It's in English with subtitles in Spanish. There are two sessions, at 6 and at 8.30. If you want more information click here.

World Water Day

World Water Day is held annually on 22 March as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources.

You can have a look at some beautiful images from around the world here and here, or send your friends a World Water Day e-card (in English, of course).

Year 1 + 2: Storyteller

Come to the CEP de Granada on Thursday, 26 March and listen to the storyteller!

The first session (for Básico 1 and 2) starts at 17.00 and the second session (for Intermedio and Avanzado) starts at 19.00, but you are more than welcome to stay for both sessions.

If you want to go by bus, take bus N. 8 and get off at the last stop (Avenida de Dílar 1).

Please, be punctual. Latecomers will not be admitted!
