World Book and Copyright Day
Today is 23 April: World Book and Copyright Day. This is a symbolic date for world
literature because on this date and in the same year of 1616, Cervantes, Shakespeare and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega all died. It is also the date of birth or death of other prominent authors such as Maurice Druon, K.Laxness, Vladimir Nabokov, Josep Pla and Manuel Mejía Vallejo.

To mark this date, we would like to organize a book fair at school. If you have any books at home that you don't want anymore, please, donate them. Someone else may want them in exchange for a small contribution. All the money raised will go to charity.
Thank you.
